Through power-sector investing and behind-the-meter research, I knew about GE Vernova and gas turbines as a choke point. But I have to admit, I completely underestimated them. I thought they weren't that hard to make, or that big.

The model is composable, with parts you can separate and inspect. I also made a cooled-blade study. Real turbine blades use cooling and coatings to work in gas hotter than the alloy's melting point while keeping the metal cooler.
